From writer/director PARK Hoon-jung (New World) comes the critically-acclaimed drama The Tiger, debuting on Blu-ray™, DVD and digital August 9 from Well Go USA Entertainment. The film features a remarkable performance from Korean superstar CHOI Min-sik (Oldboy, Lucy, The Admiral: Roaring Currents) in return to action in the role of retired sharpshooter facing off against the last surviving tiger in Japanese-occupied Korea in 1925. The film also stars JUNG Man-sik (Chronicle of a Blood Merchant), KIM Sang-ho (The Beauty Inside), REN OSUGI (the upcoming Godzilla Resurgence) and feature film newcomers SUNG Yu-bin and JEONG Seok-won.

Synopsis:
An ex-sharpshooter for the Kingdom of Korea (CHOI Min-sik, Oldboy) is hunting the country’s last tiger. But Japanese forces and vicious local poachers also seek “The Four-Legged Mountain Lord,” and will stop at nothing to claim their prey.

Things get totally epic in the brand new blockbuster, The Roaring Currents (a.k.a. The Admiral: Roaring Currents), which tells the story of Korea’s most astonishing military victory by the highly revered strategist, Admiral Yi Sunshin (Choi Min-Sik). With echoes of 300’s underdog story, in the midst of 1597’s Battle of Myeongryang, Yi Sunshin forms a devious yet brilliant plan that will lure over 300 Japanese ships into a deadly trap, where his tiny fleet of just 13 battleships hopes to turn the tides of war. Packed with suspense and intrigue, this mega-budget action spectacle is the perfect wrap up to Korean Movie Night's EPIC ACTION series and the summer.

The film has done fantastic business in its theatrical runs both in South Korea and the U.S. A big turnout is expected for Tuesday's free screening, and it's likely that many would-be viewers will sadly have to be turned away. To make sure you're not one of them, I suggest you arrive super-early.
