Daniel Craft was a member Subway Cinema, the organization that presents the annual New York Asian Film Festival, since 2004. He passed away on January 4th at the all-too-early age of 41 after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Paige Barr, his mother and brother.
I knew Daniel from NYAFF, not as well as many others, but well enough to know that he was a really nice guy and that he is sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. (You can read my earlier post about him here.)
There will be a celebration of Dan's life on January 20th in the Community Room at 125 West 109th Street, Manhattan, NY, from 2pm to 6pm. Remarks will start around 2:30. Please no flowers, just come with stories. Instead please consider a donation in Dan's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
